Savannah Cheo, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at NYU Langone who cares for children from infancy through young adulthood. She provides preventive care, well-child visits, immunizations, and treatment for acute illnesses while helping families navigate the many questions that come with each stage of a child’s development. Dr. Cheo tailors her approach to the age and needs of the patient. With new parents, she focuses on practical guidance and reassurance during the newborn period. As children grow, she works to build trust directly with them, and with adolescents and young adults she encourages increasing independence and responsibility for their own health in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her Pediatrics residency at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Cheo is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
