Dr. Anjelica Peacock, MD
Dr. Anjelica Peacock earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Rockford University in Illinois and her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. After an internship at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan, she completed dermatology residency through New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital in East Harlem, serving as Chief Resident during her final year. Her residency experience caring for a diverse population strengthened her focus on dermatology for patients with skin of color and on conditions that can disproportionately affect these communities, including eczema, vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair loss. Dr. Peacock prioritizes inclusive, culturally responsive, evidence-based care and is particularly committed to expanding access to dermatology across New York City. Through the American Academy of Dermatology and other outreach efforts, she participates in free skin cancer screenings, health fairs, and skin-health education in schools, shelters, and community centers. Outside the clinic, she enjoys weightlifting, video games, cooking, trying restaurants, and hosting themed dinner parties.
