Joshua Holden, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist with decades of experience caring for women through routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic needs. His clinical experience includes the management of high-risk pregnancy concerns such as preeclampsia and preterm labor, as well as Cesarean delivery and comprehensive gynecologic care. Dr. Holden is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and has spent many years teaching and mentoring residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His involvement in resident supervision, clinical quality review, and physician education reflects a career-long commitment to improving the safety and quality of women’s healthcare. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and completed additional training at Emory University. Dr. Holden is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also serves on the Medical Board of the International Organization for Women and Development and has participated in medical education and obstetric-care initiatives in Rwanda.
