Dr. Costner McKenzie, MD
Dr. Costner McKenzie is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), providing comprehensive dermatologic care to both adult and pediatric patients in Manhattan. With expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. McKenzie combines academic excellence, extensive research experience, and compassionate patient care to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Dr. McKenzie earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University before receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. While at Northwestern, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in recognition of his academic achievement and dedication to the medical profession. He completed his dermatology residency at New York University, where he trained under leading experts in the field and developed extensive clinical and procedural expertise. Dr. McKenzie served as Chief Resident during his final year, reflecting his leadership, clinical excellence, and commitment to dermatologic education. Dr. McKenzie is a published author whose research has appeared in respected dermatology journals and has been presented at national and international medical meetings. His clinical and research interests include eczema, acne, hair loss, health disparities, and a broad range of medical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is also committed to medical education and the training of future dermatologists. Known for his thoughtful and compassionate approach to care, Dr. McKenzie combines scientific rigor with close attention to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
