Dr. Jarad Peranteau, MD
Dr. Jarad Peranteau is a board-certified dermatologist originally from San Antonio, Texas. He earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Richmond and, after graduation, spent time working in Australia and traveling through Southeast Asia, Fiji, and New Zealand before deciding to pursue medicine. He completed the necessary premedical training and earned his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center–El Paso, followed by an Internal Medicine internship at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Dr. Peranteau then completed a dermatology clinical-research fellowship at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston, where he oversaw more than 30 active research projects. He completed dermatology residency at New York Medical College and served as Chief Resident, receiving recognition for patient care, research, and clinical contributions. He has more than 20 dermatology publications and book chapters and has presented at national, state, and local meetings. His approach emphasizes patient education, individualized skincare plans, and treating patients with the same care he would give family.
