Dr. Vivek Singam, MD
Dr. Vivek Singam is a board-certified general dermatologist seeing patients in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, he attended the six-year combined college and medical school program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Between his fifth and sixth years, he completed a dedicated dermatology research year at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where his work focused on inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer and resulted in numerous publications. He subsequently completed dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Singam’s clinical interests span general medical dermatology, with additional interests in pediatric and surgical dermatology. His academic work has included research on inflammatory dermatologic diseases such as atopic dermatitis and alopecia areata, reflecting a longstanding interest in the broader health and quality-of-life effects of skin disease.
