Dr. Sourab Choudhury, DO
Dr. Sourab Choudhury is a board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of The Dermatology Specialists. He has practiced in Brooklyn since completing his pediatric dermatology fellowship at NYU Medical Center in 2002 and is among the relatively small number of New York City physicians with fellowship training in pediatric dermatology. He teaches pediatric and dermatology residents, lectures locally and nationally, and serves as a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Choudhury completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, earned his DO from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed both his internship and dermatology residency at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan. His research has included pediatric tinea capitis and atopic dermatitis, and he has published and presented on pediatric dermatologic conditions. He has also served as an attending physician at Long Island College Hospital and taught residents from several New York training programs.
