Lovonne Brown, MD, is a Family Medicine physician with a strong interest in preventive care, health equity, and caring for patients from diverse and underserved communities. She provides comprehensive primary care and aims to make medical care feel accessible, respectful, and responsive to each patient’s individual circumstances. Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Brown moved to the United States as a young adult and later earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. After medical school, she returned to Trinidad for an internship at a rural hospital, where she cared for refugee and immigrant populations and saw firsthand how social and structural barriers can shape health. Those experiences continue to inform her approach to family medicine. Dr. Brown is interested in community outreach, preventive medicine, emergency medicine, and international health and works to understand the whole person rather than treating medical conditions in isolation. She completed her undergraduate education at St. Francis College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
