Zinoviy Gutkovich, MD, is a psychiatrist trained in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He works with adults and younger patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric concerns, and he approaches treatment with the belief that the person should never be reduced to a diagnosis. Dr. Gutkovich combines evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy when appropriate. His training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, supportive therapy, and family therapy, allowing him to tailor treatment to the needs of each patient and family. He also has experience with newer medication strategies for treatment-resistant depression. He graduated from Belarusian State Medical University, completed General Psychiatry residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center, and completed fellowship training in Child Psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Gutkovich has held leadership roles in inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, published academic work, and received multiple teaching awards during his career.
