Dr. Sydney Liang is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, providing comprehensive medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatologic care to patients in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and throughout New York City. She is known for combining academic excellence, surgical precision, and aesthetic expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care. Her particular areas of interest include skin cancer prevention and surgical treatment, acne and acne scarring, rosacea, psoriasis, cosmetic injectables, and laser treatments and resurfacing. Dr. Liang completed her undergraduate studies in cell biology, genetics, and human development at the University of Maryland, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a junior and graduated summa cum laude. She went on to earn her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of her class and earning election to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Langone Health. During her residency, Dr. Liang received multiple awards recognizing her academic excellence, leadership, and research. At the conclusion of her training, she received the Morris Leider, MD Award for Best All-Around Resident. Dr. Liang is committed to remaining at the forefront of advances in dermatology and providing patients with evidence-based, up-to-date treatment options.
