Gaia Mistriel is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Westside Family Medicine who provides comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. She values the continuity of primary care and the opportunity to support patients not only when they are sick, but also through preventive care and long-term health planning. Gaia earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies through the Pace University–Lenox Hill Hospital program after graduating summa cum laude from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Her clinical training included Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, psychiatry, women’s health, immunology, otolaryngology, emergency medicine, and general surgery. Before becoming a PA, Gaia worked as a medical assistant in outpatient pediatrics and as an emergency medical technician. Those experiences helped shape a calm, practical approach to care and reinforced her interest in treating the whole person rather than a single complaint. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
