Maggie Perasevic is a Physician Assistant at Atrium Medical who provides thoughtful, relationship-based primary care. She is particularly drawn to the continuity of primary care and the opportunity to understand not only a patient’s medical concerns, but also the personal and emotional factors that can shape overall health. Born in New York City and raised partly in the South, Maggie earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University. Her interest in caring for others began long before her formal medical training through years of helping care for her grandmother, an experience that shaped the empathy and patience she brings to her work today. Maggie approaches each visit with the goal of making patients feel heard and supported. She believes effective care should address the whole person and works with patients to create realistic plans that support both physical health and emotional well-being.
