Dr. Aurash Bina is a board-certified dermatologist at the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), specializing in medical dermatology, skin cancer screening and prevention, and cosmetic dermatology. Known for his attentive bedside manner and thorough diagnostic approach, Dr. Bina is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. He emphasizes patient education and personalized treatment plans, helping patients understand their conditions and make informed decisions about both their immediate concerns and long-term skin health. A native of Texas, Dr. Bina earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin before receiving his medical degree from Touro University in California. He completed his medical internship and dermatology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York, where he was selected to serve as Chief Dermatology Resident. Dr. Bina provides comprehensive care for a broad range of dermatologic conditions and has particular expertise in skin cancer screening and prevention. He also practices cosmetic dermatology, offering treatments including injectables and laser procedures designed to improve skin health, appearance, and patient confidence. Committed to staying current with advances in dermatology, Dr. Bina continues to refine his clinical knowledge and techniques through ongoing education, presentations, and collaborative research.
