Valecia Chan, PA
Valecia Chan is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Growing up in New York City during the 2000s YouTube era helped spark a lasting curiosity about skin, hair, and nails. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University and later worked with healthcare clients at Deloitte Consulting, where she rediscovered her interest in skin health. Working as a medical assistant at The Dermatology Specialists further confirmed her goal of building a career in dermatology. While earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies through Pace University–Lenox Hill Hospital, Valecia developed skills ranging from compassionate patient care to gentle and aesthetic surgical techniques. She combines her interest in dermatology with evidence-based science to personalize both medical and aesthetic care, regularly reviewing new literature and attending clinical workshops. Outside the clinic, she enjoys testing skincare products, walking around New York, reading in coffee shops, baking sourdough, trying recipes, and taking travel photos she rarely posts.
