Rachel Khaldar is a Physician Assistant at Westside Family Medicine who provides personalized primary care with a strong emphasis on patient education and advocacy. She enjoys building relationships with patients over time and helping them feel comfortable discussing both routine and complex health concerns. Rachel earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Elizabeth University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stern College. Before joining Westside Family Medicine, she worked in adult and geriatric primary care, where she cared for patients with complex medical needs and developed additional experience with dermatologic concerns that often intersect with general health. Her commitment to patient advocacy began earlier in her career while working as a medical assistant in women’s group homes in Brooklyn. That experience taught her to pay attention not only to what patients say, but also to needs that may be harder to express. Rachel’s approach is compassionate, holistic, and focused on helping patients understand and participate in their care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and preparing healthy meals.
