Dr. Umair Khan, MD
Umair Khan, MD, is a native New Yorker who earned his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University at Lincoln Center and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed a translational research fellowship at Mount Sinai, where he used artificial intelligence to study the tumor microenvironment in skin cancer. Dr. Khan completed his postgraduate year in medicine at Northwell Mather Hospital and dermatology residency at New York Medical College, where faculty and peers selected him to serve as Chief Resident. His clinical interests include skin cancer, hair loss, psoriasis, eczema, and a wide range of other dermatologic conditions. He provides both medical and cosmetic dermatology services with an emphasis on compassionate, dedicated patient care. At The Dermatology Specialists, Dr. Khan also serves as Medical Director of Resident Education, mentoring physicians training to become future leaders in dermatology.
