Dr. Michael Tassavor is a board-certified dermatologist who practices medical and cosmetic dermatology and performs Mohs surgery for skin cancer. He earned a BS in molecular and cell biology from the University of Connecticut, an MS in biomedical sciences from Tufts University, and his MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Tufts Medical Center, dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and fellowship training in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology with Dr. Brett Coldiron in Cincinnati. He has published peer-reviewed research and contributed a chapter to a dermatologic surgery text.
