Dr. Lauren Strazzulla, MD
Dr. Lauren Strazzulla is a board-certified dermatologist born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a BA in Biological Sciences and earned her medical degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. During medical school she completed a dedicated research year in alopecia with hair and scalp specialist Dr. Jerry Shapiro. Following an Internal Medicine internship, she completed dermatology residency at the University of Miami Dr. Philip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, receiving extensive training in complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, cosmetics, and hair disorders. Dr. Strazzulla emphasizes personalized, patient-first care and the use of current therapies to improve both health and quality of life. She belongs to the American Academy of Dermatology and Women’s Dermatologic Society and has published book chapters and peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented at dermatology conferences. Her practice includes acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, pruritus, contact dermatitis, hives, hair loss, skin-cancer screening, excisions, and aesthetic procedures.
