Madison “Maddie” Merryman, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Westside Family Medicine who provides primary and preventive care. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, nutrition, women’s health, chronic-disease management, and helping patients make practical changes that support long-term wellness. Before transitioning into outpatient primary care, Maddie worked as a Physician Assistant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at RWJ Barnabas Health, caring for critically ill newborns and supporting families through complex medical situations. That experience strengthened her attention to detail, communication, and ability to remain calm when patients are facing uncertainty. Maddie earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Bay Path University after completing a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Nutrition Science at Indiana University. She values the continuity of primary care and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients over time. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hot yoga, and Pilates.
