Kayla Glerum, LMHC
Hi, I’m Kayla Glerum, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents and adults. I support clients dealing with anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, depression, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and patterns that can feel difficult to change even when you understand them intellectually. My approach is collaborative, transparent, and rooted in empathy. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion-Focused Therapy to help you understand your emotions, strengthen coping skills, and practice new ways of responding to difficult situations. I earned my graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. I believe meaningful change requires both self-compassion and action. In our work together, I’ll encourage you to give yourself grace while also helping you identify the patterns that are no longer serving you and take concrete steps toward a life that feels more intentional and connected.
