Dr. Peter Hashim, MD
Peter Hashim, MD, MHS, is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and both his medical degree and Master of Health Science from Yale University, where his graduate research focused on clinical outcomes in pediatric craniofacial anomalies. He completed a surgical internship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He then remained at Mount Sinai for fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. Dr. Hashim has been an investigator on more than 30 clinical trials involving skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and alopecia. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American College of Mohs Surgery and serves on the clinical faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he helps train dermatology residents.
