Raikija Allen is a board-certified Physician Assistant with roots in Maryland and North Carolina who later relocated to New York City. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Linguistics while following the pre-PA track. Raikija has been interested in dermatology since high school, with more than a decade of experience in the beauty industry as a hairstylist helping spark that interest. She earned her Master of Medical Science from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Department of Physician Assistant Studies, completing rigorous didactic coursework and rotations across medical and surgical specialties including dermatology. At TDS, she continues to expand her skills through the practice’s training program and is pursuing Diplomate Fellow status through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Raikija emphasizes individualized, inclusive, compassionate care and collaborative patient relationships. Outside work, she enjoys travel, music, and fragrance.
