David A. Horwitz, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with decades of experience caring for children from infancy through young adulthood. His career has included both pediatric critical care and long-term outpatient pediatrics, giving him a broad perspective on routine childhood concerns as well as complex medical conditions. After completing Pediatrics residency training at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center, where he served as chief resident, Dr. Horwitz became Director of Pediatric Critical Care at Bellevue Hospital. He later joined Pediatric Associates of NYC and has spent decades caring for families in the outpatient setting. Dr. Horwitz earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and serves as Co-Medical Director of Pediatric Associates of NYC. His approach is grounded in careful listening, practical guidance, and the long-term relationships that develop when a pediatrician follows a child through many stages of growth.
