Alexa McGhee, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at SINY Dermatology who provides both medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. She treats common skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea, performs skin-cancer screenings and lesion evaluations, and works with patients on cosmetic concerns using treatments such as injectables and laser-based procedures. Alexa’s approach is collaborative and education focused. She wants patients to understand what is happening with their skin, what options are available, and what they can realistically expect from treatment. Whether the goal is controlling a chronic condition, evaluating a changing lesion, or improving a cosmetic concern, she develops individualized plans around the patient’s priorities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Diagnostics from the University of Delaware and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. Alexa then completed additional dermatology fellowship training at SINY, gaining focused experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
