
Michael C. Liou, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Chinatown Cardiology. He treats coronary artery disease, vascular disease, and structural heart conditions and performs minimally invasive catheter-based procedures designed to restore blood flow and treat selected heart and vascular problems. Dr. Liou completed the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program at CUNY City College and earned his medical degree from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine training at NYU Langone, Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and advanced fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at NYU Langone. His procedural expertise includes transradial cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular intervention, valvuloplasty, and selected structural-heart procedures. Dr. Liou is also interested in cardiovascular disease affecting Asian American populations and combines advanced procedural care with clear, patient-centered discussion of treatment options.
