
Dr. Ronald R. Brancaccio is the founder and Director of the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®), a dermatology group serving patients across New York City and Long Island since 1979. A board-certified dermatologist with decades of clinical experience, Dr. Brancaccio provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. He is known for his depth of expertise, thoughtful diagnostic approach, and longstanding commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Brancaccio earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital before completing his dermatology residency at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Brancaccio has held significant academic and hospital appointments throughout his career. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine and as an attending physician at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Throughout his career, Dr. Brancaccio has combined patient care with dermatology research, physician education, and academic leadership. His work training future dermatologists and caring for generations of patients has helped establish him as a highly respected figure in New York dermatology.
