Dr. Rhonda Reid, MD
Rhonda Reid, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist whose clinical interests include depression, trauma- and stress-related disorders, and cultural psychiatry. She works with patients to understand not only their symptoms, but also the life experiences, relationships, identity, and cultural context that may be shaping how those symptoms are experienced. A native of the Bronx, Dr. Reid earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vassar College and her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. She remained at Morehouse for General Psychiatry residency training and served as Educational Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Reid brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care and aims to create a space where people feel comfortable discussing difficult emotions and experiences. Her work is grounded in careful listening, respect for each patient’s background, and treatment plans tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
